Picflo Vision (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with Pinterest’s Developer Guidelines and API Terms of Service. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including any Pinterest integration. By using our Services, you explicitly agree to these practices.


1. Information

We Collect We reasonably assume we may collect:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, any linked Pinterest account identifiers (with explicit user authorization via OAuth).

  • Content Data: Uploaded photos, videos, EXIF metadata, and any Pinterest Pins accessed through the API, but not stored on our servers (we access via API on-demand).

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser/device details, operating system, device identifiers, usage logs, and cookies/session data.

  • Cookies & Tracking Data: Session cookies, analytics cookies, etc.

2. How We Collect Information

  • Direct Input: Data you provide when registering, uploading content, or linking Pinterest via OAuth. - Automated Collection: Through cookies, analytics tools, and device logs.

  • Pinterest API Access: Only via user-authorized OAuth tokens. We do not collect Pinterest login credentials, passwords, or session cookies. We do not store Pinterest data long-term—only access per request as required by policy.

3. How We Use Your Information We use information to:

Operate and maintain Picflo Vision services.

  • Provide AI-powered analysis and coaching (e.g., on your photos and Pinterest Pins).

  • Enable Pinterest integration only with your permission.

  • Communicate updates, features, and support.

  • Personalize your experience.

  • Ensure security, detect fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We only share information with:

  • You (the user): Services utilize data specifically for that user only. No cross-account data merging or sharing.

  • Our Service Providers: Cloud storage, analytics tools, AI partners—but only as needed and with your consent.

  • Pinterest: Only to comply with developer policies, legal orders, or joint controller arrangements under GDPR (if applicable).

  • Legal and Business Transfers: Compliance with law, mergers, or acquisitions—never as a sale of personal data. We will not sell, share, or bundle your Pinterest data with third-party advertising services.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Pinterest Data: Not stored—accessed via API calls as needed.

  • User Data: Stored securely on servers in Canada or the U.S., encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • Access: Limited to authorized personnel; credentials stored securely. API keys kept confidential.

6. Data Retention

  • User-Provided Data: Retained only as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

  • Pinterest Data: Not retained—only accessed per request and for necessary operations.

7. User Rights

You may:

  • Access, update, correct, or delete your data (including Pinterest-linked data).

  • Withdraw consent for certain uses. - Request a portable copy of your data.

  • Lodge complaints with applicable data protection authorities. If GDPR applies, we acknowledge a joint controller role with Pinterest—and will forward data subject requests to Pinterest within the required timeframe.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain sessions.

  • Remember preferences.

  • Analyze app usage. If you integrate with Pinterest (e.g., via OAuth or "Pin it" features), note that Pinterest may also set cookies on user devices—for that, you must have or link a Cookie Policy in addition to this Privacy Policy. Users must be able to manage and consent to cookies, especially in jurisdictions requiring prior consent (e.g., EU).

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for users under age 13 (or the applicable age of consent). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Using Pinterest for users under 13 is prohibited under Pinterest’s policies.

10. Pinterest API & OAuth Compliance

  • OAuth Only: We use Pinterest’s OAuth flow for authentication; we do not collect credentials directly.

  • No Automated Actions on Pinterest: We do not automatically create/edit pins, follow users, or engage on behalf of users.

  • Transparency: Users are informed clearly that their Pinterest data is used for analysis and coaching only.

  • No Scraping: Our app will not scrape or extract data outside of Pinterest’s API.

  • No Advertising Use: Pinterest data is not used for targeted advertising or sold to ad services.
